FERRY TO HONG KONG ISLAND

We stayed at Kowloon but of course Hong Kong Island will definitely be included in our itinerary. Rode the ferry to get to the other side rather than taking the MTR. Got a bit lost on our way and back to Kowloon but it was fun. Walked around before going to The Peak for a very beautiful view at night.

First things first. A big congratulations to Titan for giving the community a very very dope event last December 23. It was the release of arguably the most sought after shoe in the Jordan line, The Jordan XI "Concords". Along with the release, Titan gave us an Air Jordan exhibit and an NBA 2K12 tournament. Now, look me in the eye and tell me that Titan doesn't care about the people in the community. You just cant.

Also, a big thank you to Titan for making me the Tournament Director/Game Master of the NBA 2K12 tourney. It was a real pleasure working with you guys. The event was mad tiring but hella fun. Shout outs to the marshalls who braved 128 players and hours of facilitating the event... We did it!

And last, Thanks to everyone who participated in the event. You all rock! Got to give a shout out to the Top 4 players who provided us very intense games for the semis. The Smart iPhone 4s campout was probably the craziest campout Ive ever been to. A campout with free food and drinks, free movies, free use of video games, and a lot of freebies given away. (When I say freebies I mean Ipads, Macbook Airs, Beats by Dre headphones, and more.) They even raffled out a Subaru. Crazy right? You know what the craziest part for me is? A LUPE FIASCO SHOW FOR FREE. Yup! I just had to take my chances in seeing Lupe since Ive heard that the launch/campout is gonna be exclusive for Smart Gold/Platinum subcribers. Stormed Powerplant Mall like a muthaf.

Another fighting game tournament went down last October 15, 2011. A P2D hosted event, OKTOBERFIST, showcased a Street Fighter AE 2vs2 tournament, and a 1v1 MK9 tournament as well. Yall know I joined that MK9.

Entering the tourney, I wasn't really that nervous since its my 3rd one and I know almost all MK9 players who were there and I was there to have fun and maybe learn Rain's matchups... Ok I lied, maybe I was a little nervous. One thing I had in mind though was that I need to take Rain far. I mean really far lol. maybe, top 5, maybe top 3.. or Champion even. And yes! Everything went better than expected, lol managed to grab another tournament win under my belt, this time with Rain. *cue rain sound effects*

Good ass thing.

Apologies for the small amount photos in this post. I was having a fun fun time at the event, I forgot to pull out my camera and take shots.

Anyway, Titan recently turned 1 and celebrated in a very...hmmm, Titanic fashion. No Iceberg. You know how them brothers at Titan do. Alongside the anniversary is the release of the Deer Valley Titans collection. A joint venture with the good peeps from UNSCHLD and the one and only Mark Ong (SBTG). I was really impressed with the merchandise, everything is on point from the shoes to the apparel. Everything, and I mean EVERYTHING is FRESH. The word fresh is recklessly thrown here and there nowadays but believe me when I say that this Deer Valley Titans collection is FRESH.

Salute to all the people behind this very dope event. Titan, more powerful years to come. UNSCHLD, keep on keeping on with that dope shit. Mark Ong, thank you for blessing the Philippines with such creative and beautiful product.

For all the folks who haven't seen the episodes yet, I compiled the Machinima uploaded videos for your comfortable viewing. I must say that this series impressed me. A little modern flavor here and there, little story tweaks.. but still captured that dark and gritty MK feel. The last episode was the craziest IMO. Might be biased since I'm a Mortal Kombat 3 fan during the Sega days.
